Woodland, CA, April 17, 2012 – Woodland Healthcare is offering free monthly parenting workshops on the first, second and third Mondays of the month beginning May 7, 2012.
Woodland Healthcare Family Therapist Roseanne Testerman Long will facilitate the workshops and offer the support needed to nurture your children and build a strong relationship with them. At each workshop, parents can ask questions about any aspect of parenting and find out what is normal behavior and what is not, as well as get ideas of how to manage your children’s behavior or feelings.
The group is FREE and for parents ONLY.
Woodland Healthcare is offering the following:
“Parents of Toddlers,” meeting the first Monday of the month, beginning May 7, 2012.
“Parents of School-Aged Kids,” meeting the second Monday of the month, beginning May 14, 2012.
“Parents of Teens,” meeting the third Monday of the month, beginning May 21, 2012.
Workshops will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Woodland Healthcare Medical Office Building, 632 W. Gibson Rd., Woodland, in the education classroom across from pediatrics.
Workshops will be in session indefinitely. Groups will NOT meet on Mondays that fall on holidays.
