Woodland Surgery Center Recognized as Quality Unit by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy
Woodland, CA, January 1, 2012 – The Woodland Healthcare Surgery Center was honored with a certificate of recognition as a quality endoscopy unit by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).
The ASGE recognizes endoscopy units that follow its guidelines on privileging, quality assurance, endoscope reprocessing and Centers for Disease Control infection control guidelines. An important requirement for the program is attendance at an educational course, “Improving Quality and Safety in Your Endoscopy Unit.” The program promotes excellence in patient care by recognizing dedication to quality in endoscopy.

The Woodland Healthcare Surgery Center was one of 27 endoscopy units nationwide that was recognized by the ASGE.
