Woodland Healthcare Announces New CMO


 

Woodland, CA, July 15, 2010 - Michael Patmas, MD, joins Woodland Healthcare as chief medical officer. He brings 14 years of administrative experience with medical groups to his new position.

In his new role, Dr. Patmas will be responsible for the integration of all clinical processes and staff of Woodland Healthcare, which includes Woodland Memorial Hospital and Woodland Clinic Medical Group. His duties also include ensuring the delivery of the highest quality of responsible healthcare to Woodland Healthcare patients in the most efficient, affordable and accountable manner.

Dr. Patmas is a certified physician executive and fellow of the American College of Physician Executives. He received his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and his master of medical management degree from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business.

“We are excited that Dr. Patmas has joined Woodland Healthcare,” said Kevin Vaziri, president of Woodland Healthcare. “His experience in academia and private practice combined with his leadership skills will be a valuable asset to our team.”

Prior to joining Woodland Healthcare, Dr. Patmas served as Chief Executive Officer of St. Alphonsus Medical Group in Boise, Idaho.
