Get with the Guidelines® - Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award
American Heart/American Stroke Association
Woodland Healthcare has received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get with the Guidelines® - Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award for providing excellent stroke care. The award recognizes Woodland Healthcare’s commitment and success in implementing excellent care for stroke patients, according to evidence-based guidelines. To receive this award, Woodland Healthcare achieved 85 percent or higher adherence to all Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Quality Achievement Indicators for two or more consecutive 12-month intervals and achieved 75 percent or higher compliance with six of 10 stroke quality measures.

Baby Friendly Hospital
World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nation’s Children’s Fund (UNICEF)
In September 2010, Woodland Healthcare was designated a Baby Friendly Hospital, a program sponsored by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nation’s Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to encourage and recognize hospitals that support breastfeeding. Woodland Healthcare was the 97th hospital in the U.S. to become Baby Friendly. A Baby Friendly Hospital is a facility that promotes, protects and supports lactation by implementing a series of steps outlined by WHO and UNICEF for successful breastfeeding in hospitals.

2011 CHART Certificate of Excellence Award
California Hospital Assessment and Reporting Taskforce (CHART)
A prestigious honor awarded by CHART, a third-party consumer-reporting agency, to Woodland Healthcare for key quality achievements in 50 categories. Some of these measures include patient experience, patient safety, cardiac care, maternity care, pneumonia treatment and surgical infection prevention. Woodland Healthcare is one of only 29 hospitals across California recognized for outstanding clinical performance.

Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA)
Out of more than 200 physician organizations, Woodland Clinic Medical Group was one of only 44 top performers who achieved highest overall quality in 2010. The award is based on performance in four areas: Patient Experience, Clinical Quality, Information Technology and Diabetes Care.

Woodland Healthcare Home Health has been named to the 2010 HomeCare Elite™, a compilation of the top-performing home health agencies in the United States. Now in its fifth year, the HomeCare Elite identifies the top 25 percent of agencies and further highlights the top 100 and top 500 agencies overall. Winners are ranked by an analysis of performance measures in quality outcomes, quality improvement, and financial performance. The 2010 HomeCare Elite is the only performance recognition of its kind in the home health industry.
