Memory Loss Support Group

Woodland Healthcare's Yolo Adult Day Health Center is piloting a support group for individuals with early-stage memory loss due to Alzheimer’s Disease or a related dementia. Such groups have proven to be effective in helping the individual deal with a range of challenges such as loss of independence, depression and changes in roles. The group will be co-facilitated by Larry Cassevah, MSW and Rose Levinson, MSW. Simultaneously, a caregiver support group for a spouse or other significant caregiver in the patient’s life will be facilitated by Peggy Phelps.
