Yolo County offers nearly unlimited recreational and competitive opportunities for all ages, including everything from badminton and baseball to volleyball and water skiing. Between Woodland and Davis, residents enjoy nearly 600 acres of recreational parks, athletic fields and greenbelts winding through the community.

If you like outdoor shopping and farm-fresh produce, you’ll enjoy Yolo County’s many certified farmers’ markets - including the Capay Valley Farmers' Market and Davis Farmers' Market - offering fresh fruits and vegetables direct from local growers between April and December.

And for a relaxing night of outdoor entertainment during July and August, head into downtown Davis for their live Friday night free concert series.

Within a few hours drive from Yolo County, outdoor enthusiasts can choose from hiking and camping in the beautiful Yosemite Valley, strolling along a Pacific Coast beach or skiing in Lake Tahoe’s Sierra Nevada mountain range.
